Yes, all products are handmade by my & the team in our beautiful London studio.

The products are made with therapeutic grade essential oils & extracts. These are the highest quality oils available. They are expensive, but worth their price. Because my products are created as remedies and healing products, I do not want to settle for anything less!

I source my essential oils from Oshadhi, Shechina and Materia Aromatica. The vanilla extract is made in-house with organic vanilla pods & coconut oil by macerating the pods in the oil in a glass jar.

I use as many organic ingredients as I can, but not all of the products are 100% organic. I have starred the organic & wildcrafted ingredients in each product for full transparency. In the long run, Womanology strives to be fully organic and wildcrafted. I am constantly sourcing organic ingredients, and replace any non-organic ones as soon as I find an organic alternative.

Yes. All the ingredients are derived from plants. Womanology uses oils, waxes, butters, essential oils, CO2 extracts and hydrosols.

At first I created cleansing oils for my own health, after struggling with intimate pain, constant irritation and discomfort. After a lot of research I learned that commercial soaps and intimate cleansers can damage the skin’s natural protective barrier - the acid mantle - making it skin dry, fragile and prone to infections, like thrush & eczema.

Additionally, vulvar skin is more sensitive because it is thinner than skin on other parts of the body. It is also responsive to hormonal changes and can become more sensitive during different stages, such as menstrual cycle and during pregnancy and menopause.

Oils help rebuild and support the natural protective barrier, the acid mantle. They are wonderful for cleansing and nourishing the skin, especially of the delicate intimate area. Oils are full of beneficial compounds and have naturally acidic pH, similar to your skin and intimate areas, and won’t disrupt your natural bacterial flora. They help you in keeping your intimate skin strong and elastic.

Yes! I struggled with extremely sensitive skin ever since I was a child. Mainstream skincare products would make me break up in eczema and swell up. I ended up in A&E a good few times because of allergic reactions to skincare and household products.

I created these products so that I can use them and therefore they are designed with delicate, sensitive and over-reactive bodies in mind. Even my young daughters use the products!

However, if you have an extremely sensitive skin it is always wise to read the ingredient list, do a skin patch test and approach all new products with caution.

If you are looking for something extra mild, I recommend using plain Jojoba Oil for cleansing and massage.

Absolutely! They are all made with delicate plant extracts chosen specifically for being safe, nourishing and healing. All products are safety tested and compliant with EU regulations. However, you should always exercise caution when using a new product and use your common sense.

Yes. I have designed the products to support myself with my own intimate struggles – you can read about my journey here. Each product is designed with our bodies in mind. However, it is wise to consult your healthcare professional before using any new products.

With proper care all oil based products should last for 12 months, at least. These are handcrafted without any water or preservatives and as such should be stored away from heat, light and moisture. It is recommended to keep bottles out of direct sunlight. And always use any products with clean, dry hands.

Our essences are hydrosol based, which means that they contain water. Because I wanted to refrain from using preservatives, the shelf life of the mists is 6 MONTHS ONLY.

I use Miron Violetglass. They are known for their exceptional ability to lengthen the shelf-life of products by filtering out the light frequencies that can harm delicate oils. Bottling my products in these glass containers helps maintain the integrity of the ingredients. Plastic tends to interact with liquids, and over time can leach undesirable compounds into the products.

Never! The products are tested by women.

All products are made with 100% plant-based ingredients, which can vary depending on the growing conditions and weather. Subtle disparities are totally normal and nothing to worry about — just a beautiful reminder of the diversity of the Mother Earth. Every order is beautifully packaged and gift-ready. All orders are packaged in a kraft mailer box. Items are cushioned with recyclable, reusable kraft zigzag paper and sprinkled with dried herbs. The boxes are securely sealed with a kraft paper tape.

I use biodegradable, recycled, recyclable and/or reusable packaging and posting materials, whenever possible. 

Please recycle or reuse our packaging.

To reduce waste, I do not include an invoice with your order. If you would like a printed receipt, please specify this in the “notes” at checkout or email me.

All orders are lovingly & carefully packed and gift-ready. If you are purchasing a gift for someone other than yourself, please provide a short message (include your name if you wish) for the recipient and their name in the “notes” section at the checkout and we will enclose a card in your parcel. You can choose to have it sent to yours or directly to them.

While the products were formulated to be safe for the entire intimate area, they are not meant to be used internally, as vaginal lubricant.

If your order is delayed, we will notify you and offer you the option of a refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order you may do so up until the end of the pre-order period, in which case your money will be refunded within 30 days. After this you may not be able to cancel your order if we have already purchased the ingredients to prepare the products. Please email us directly if you need to rescind your order.

RETURNS

Your happiness is really important to us.

If there is a problem with your order, such as a damaged or defective item or you are unsatisfied with the quality of our products, please contact us on hello@womanology.life within 48 hours of receiving the products, and provide a description of the issue (with photo documentation if applicable) for a full refund.

Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the buyer.
